Counter Strike 2D help

I need help with cs2d

By Anari 6 years ago

When ever i try to load up Counter strike 2D i get to the load up screen saying "Loading GFX" then all of a sudden CS2D closes and i get a pop up that says "Memory Access Violation." Is there any way to stop this from happening? The game works fine on my laptop but not on my computer.

Check your graphics card. I seem to remember that CS2D doesn't work on nVidia GeForce cards any higher than the Go 5000 series, if at all.

I think the graphics of CS2D (isn't it 16-bit graphics as compared to 32 for WinXP?) are too low... It might go below the minimum performance floor of the nVidia cards.

Just rampant speculation, of course. I'm getting a new PC soon with a nVidia 7600, I'll see if it works there. Hopefully CS2D Max will take care of it.
